About the role

Our Paris analysts support remediation programmes, file reviews and risk assessments for banks, payment institutions and asset managers supervised by the ACPR and the AMF. The work is case-based and calls for judgement: understanding ownership structures, source of funds and sanctions exposure. You will work in teams led by senior consultants and contribute to the methods our technology consultants build into screening systems. Some engagements involve trading and logistics companies with sanctions exposure.

What you will do

  • Review customer due diligence files and identify gaps against LCB-FT requirements.
  • Investigate transaction monitoring and sanctions screening alerts and document conclusions.
  • Map beneficial ownership using corporate registries and commercial databases.
  • Contribute to enterprise-wide financial crime risk assessments.
  • Draft case analyses for client compliance officers ahead of TRACFIN reporting decisions.

What you bring

  • 2 to 4 years in AML, KYC or sanctions roles at a bank, a payment institution or a consultancy.
  • Knowledge of the French Monetary and Financial Code (Articles L561-1 and following) and the EU AML directives.
  • Familiarity with EU, OFAC and UN sanctions regimes.
  • Precise writing in French and English.
  • Degree in law, finance or a related field.

Good to have

  • CAMS certification.
  • Experience with World-Check, Dow Jones Risk & Compliance or Orbis.
  • Knowledge of the EU AML Regulation and the new AMLA authority.
