Visiting this website
We do not use cookies or similar storage on your device. To see how the site is used, we record page views and application steps with the page address, the referring site, campaign parameters in the link, an approximate country derived from your connection and the device type. Your IP address is not stored. A daily-changing, one-way hash lets us count unique visits within a day without recognising you on another day. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running and improving the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). These records are deleted after 14 months.
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes connection data to deliver pages and protect against attacks.
Applying for a job
When you apply, we process the details you enter, your CV and any links you give us, in order to assess your application (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and, for employment in Germany, § 26 BDSG). If you arrived through an advertisement, we store the advertising click identifier so that we can measure which campaigns lead to applications.
We delete applications 6 months after the role is filled, unless you agreed that we may keep your details for 12 months to consider you for other roles. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us.
Application data is stored with Cloudflare, our hosting provider, in a database located in Western Europe. CV files are kept in private storage that is not reachable from the public website. Access is limited to the people involved in hiring.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of processing, and data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.
