The position

Our corporate finance team advises founders, family shareholders and private equity sponsors on disposals, acquisitions and refinancings. Mandates often cross the Swiss-French border, so tax, currency and legal structure matter from the first week. This role sits between the analysts and the directors. You will own the financial model on each deal, coordinate due diligence workstreams and keep the process on schedule. You will also work with our treasury and transfer pricing colleagues when a transaction raises questions in their area.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain three-statement and valuation models (DCF, trading and transaction comparables, LBO) for live mandates.
• Prepare information memoranda, management presentations and process letters in English and French.
• Run virtual data rooms and coordinate Q&A between buyers, advisers and management.
• Review vendor due diligence findings and reflect quality-of-earnings adjustments in the valuation.
• Supervise and review the work of analysts on each deal team.

What the firm looks for

• 4 to 7 years in M&A advisory, transaction services or investment banking.
• Direct involvement in at least two completed transactions, from mandate to signing.
• Strong command of financial statements under IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER.
• Advanced Excel modelling and the ability to produce client-ready PowerPoint documents.
• English and French at professional level, written and spoken.

Further advantages

• CFA, ACCA or progress towards the Swiss diploma in auditing (expert-comptable diplômé).
• Experience with French LBO structures and holding company regimes.
• Working knowledge of Capital IQ or Mergermarket.
