The position
Most supply-chain questions our clients bring are data questions in disguise: how much stock to hold, where to hold it, and what a given service level actually costs. This role builds the analysis behind those answers. You will clean and join ERP, WMS and TMS extracts, build forecasting and inventory models, and present results to operations and finance leads. You will work with our logistics network designers and with our finance data engineers, who maintain the shared data platform.
Responsibilities
- Extract and reconcile data from ERP, warehouse management and transport management systems.
- Build demand forecasting and inventory models covering safety stock, reorder points and ABC/XYZ segmentation.
- Quantify cost-to-serve by customer, channel and product family.
- Design Power BI dashboards that operations and finance teams use week to week.
- Present findings and recommendations to client steering committees.
What the firm looks for
- 3+ years in supply-chain analytics, operations research or a similar consulting role.
- Strong SQL and Python (pandas, statsmodels or scikit-learn).
- Solid grasp of inventory theory and statistical forecasting methods.
- Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
- English at C1 level; French at B2 level or higher.
Further advantages
- Experience with SAP IBP, Kinaxis or o9.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
- A degree in industrial engineering or applied mathematics.
