The position

Swiss and French financial institutions face close supervisory scrutiny of their screening and monitoring systems from FINMA and the ACPR. Too many alerts waste analyst time; too few create regulatory exposure. Our risk and compliance team helps clients select, configure and test these systems against the OFAC, SECO, EU and UN lists. In this role you will lead technical workstreams on screening and monitoring projects, working with our financial crime analysts and finance data engineers.

Responsibilities

• Assess and tune name and payment screening rules, fuzzy matching thresholds and good-guy lists.
• Map sanctions list data (OFAC SDN, SECO, EU consolidated list, UN) into screening engines and test coverage.
• Validate transaction monitoring scenarios and document model governance in line with AMLO-FINMA and the French LCB-FT framework.
• Prepare selection and implementation plans for tools such as NICE Actimize, Oracle FCCM or FircoSoft.
• Write test scripts and evidence packs for internal audit and supervisors.

What the firm looks for

• 5+ years in financial crime compliance technology at a bank, a vendor or an advisory firm.
• Hands-on experience with at least one screening or transaction monitoring platform.
• Good knowledge of the Swiss AMLA and AMLO-FINMA, or the LCB-FT provisions of the French Monetary and Financial Code.
• SQL skills for alert and data analysis.
• English at C1 level; French at B2 level.

Further advantages

• CAMS or CGSS certification.
• Python for scenario and model testing.
• Experience with ISO 20022 payment message screening.
